Cardamom Spiced Coffee

(Makes 2 Drinks)


There’s simply no better way to warm up on a cold fall or winter day than with this festive coffee that pairs our Italian Dark Roast with the recognizable spice of Chai.



  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1 tbsp. honey

  • 1/2 tsp . finely grated orange zest

  • 1/2 tsp. ground cardamom

  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

  • 16 oz. brewed Starbucks® Italian Roast®

  • 2 cinnamon sticks (3 inches each)

  • 2 orange twists

  1. Combine milk, honey, orange zest, cardamom and cinnamon in small saucepan set over medium heat. Warm until steaming; remove from heat.

  2. Pour coffee into two mugs; top with steaming milk. Garnish each mug with cinnamon stick and orange twist.

  3. Serve and enjoy!

Tip: Substitute brown sugar, maple syrup or butterscotch sauce for honey to add a subtle caramel-like flavour.
