Cardamom Spiced Coffee
(Makes 2 Drinks)
There’s simply no better way to warm up on a cold fall or winter day than with this festive coffee that pairs our Italian Dark Roast with the recognizable spice of Chai.
1/2 cup whole milk
1 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp . finely grated orange zest
1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
Pinch of ground cinnamon
16 oz. brewed Starbucks® Italian Roast®
2 cinnamon sticks (3 inches each)
2 orange twists
Combine milk, honey, orange zest, cardamom and cinnamon in small saucepan set over medium heat. Warm until steaming; remove from heat.
Pour coffee into two mugs; top with steaming milk. Garnish each mug with cinnamon stick and orange twist.
Serve and enjoy!
Tip: Substitute brown sugar, maple syrup or butterscotch sauce for honey to add a subtle caramel-like flavour.
