Black Cherry Coffee Float
(Makes 2 Drinks)
This grown-up ice cream float makes an impressive and indulgent after-dinner dessert.
2 cups (500 mL) strong brewed Starbucks Pike Place Roast, chilled
1/2 cup (125 mL) Häagen-Dazs Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
1/2 cup (125 mL) black cherry soda
2 Luxardo cherries
Divide coffee between 2 tall glasses.
Add scoop of ice cream to each glass. Top with soda.
Garnish each serving with cherry.
• Luxardo cherries are the original maraschino cherry packed with real fruit flavour. They can be found in gourmet stores or wine and liquor stores. Substitute pitted fresh cherries if desired.
• For a more indulgent drink, thread 4 Luxardo cherries evenly onto 2 skewers and garnish each drink with skewer.
• Spike each serving with a splash of chocolate liqueur and bourbon if desired.
